PRE-INSULATED PIPES AND FITTINGS

APPLICATIONS

PE-ST-PU-SPIRO and ST-PU-SPIRO pipes are intended for the construction of air-conditioning and technological installations, i.e:

• water,
• ice water, brine,
• other water solutions (acceptable only for PE-ST-PU-SPIRO pipes)
• chemically aggressive liquids (allowed only for PE-ST-PU-SPIRO pipes)

APPLICATION PARAMETERS:

• pressure up to PN 160
• temperature from -20˚C to + 60˚C (PE-ST-PUSPIRO) and from -20˚C to + 130˚C (ST-PU-SPIRO)

PIPE JOINING METHODS:

• Victaulic System couplings
• flange connections
• welding

ADVANTAGES OF PE-ST-PU-SPIRO AND PE-ST-PUSPIRO PIPES:

• good thermal insulation (worse than in the case of pipes with a polyethylene jacket)
  the possibility of isolating the connection

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES OF PE-ST-PU-SPIRO PIPES:

• high smoothness of the inner surface of the polyethylene pipe reduces flow resistance
• high abrasion resistance under the action of liquids containing solid suspensions
• high chemical resistance to most substances present in the transported media
• no overgrowth with sediment – hydraulic parameters unchanged over time
• no corrosion of the inner liner
• extended service life in relation to steel pipes
