PE-NP-AS pipes
„ELPLAST+” Sp. z o.o. manufactures armoured polyethylene pipes, PE-NP-AS and PE-NP-AS/AS, authorized for use in underground workings of mining plants.
Advantages
- high durability of the pipeline (several times higher than for steel pipes) – particularly evident in case of workings with the adverse conditions,
- easy assembly and maintaining of the pipeline using Victaulic couplings,
- labour productivity growth by ca. 50 % during assembly and disassembly in relation to flanged pipes,
- lighter than steel pipelines, easy to transport,
- high abrasion resistance,
- low roughness coefficient of inner pipe layer – reduction of the flow loss by 20%,
- no corrosion, inner encrustation significantly decreased,
- impact strength and fracture toughness,
- high flexibility, possibility of bending the pipeline with no need for elbows in case of specific bend radii,
- high resistance to crack growth due to external damages,
- odour free
- it is possible:
- to cut to the required length on-site,
- to install a hydrant anywhere,
- to clench immediately the pipe with a screw clamp,
- to reuse all components,
- to connect with other installed pipelines using flanged adapters or adapters grooved according to the Victaulic system.
